It’s not just about spirits

We’re not only in the business of sourcing quality spirits but also making sure all our brands are committed to protecting their raw material, it’s environment and the ecosystems surrounding it.

Sustainability & Growth

Not only is the Agave selection important for the quality of the spirit but Agave plays a huge role in the ecosystem they support, providing sustenance for hundreds of species of insects, birds and mammals. Agave also prevent soil erosion allowing for other crops to grow protected, is a source of fibre for the textile industry and its stem (quiote) and flowers are cooked to make delicious meals. It's considered to be a magical plant by the people who work with it.

Unfortunately when an Agave is allowed to live a full cycle, flower and reproduce it is not possible to utilize it for Mezcal or Tequila production and with the demand for these two spirits on the constant rise, few producers and brands are willing to "sacrifice" plants, risking the availability and bio-diversity of these amazing plants.

The good news is that all of our brands are additive free and practice sustainable farming, allowing you to enjoy an incredibly high quality spirit, in which the taste is derived from farming quality, mature agave and taking their time to transform it into a spirit.

Making A Conscious Decision -
100% Agave

Per capita, Australia is one of the countries who drinks the best quality Tequila in the world, this means that most of the Tequila consumed in the territory is 100% Agave and not a Mixto (51% Agave - 49% other sugar sources).

Unfortunately 100% Agave does not mean what it used to, with regulations now allowing brands to "rectify" their production with the use of additives such as Glycerin, Oak Extract, Carmel Colour and others for the sake of consistency allowing them to alter the natural flavour of the spirit derived from the low quality of Agave being utilised as well as the accelerated processes involved in the production of their spirit, a common practice in mass produced Tequila.

It’s our business to make a difference through good, quality spirits.
